In partnership with UNFPA, Global NAFIR Leads 16 Days of Activism in Kassala

Global NAFIR for Relief and Development Organization with support of UNFPA has taken a leading role in the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign in Kassala State, that running from 25 November to 10 December 2025.
As part of this international movement, Global NAFIR is coordinating, monitoring, and implementing activities in partnership with UNFPA, the State Ministry of Social Development (CAVW), and women lead organizations.
The campaign aims to raise awareness, strengthen community resilience, and promote reproductive health while addressing the urgent need to prevent and respond to gender-based violence.
A major highlight of this year’s campaign is the distribution of 5,000 sanitary pads and dignity kits to women and girls across Kassala State. These essential supplies are being delivered with transparency and accountability, ensuring that vulnerable communities receive the support they need. Global NAFIR remains committed to fostering social harmony and advancing gender equality. Together with partners, the organization is working to create lasting impact and empower communities to stand against GBV.
