Report on the Evaluation Workshop of the 16 Days of Activism

Introduction:

An evaluation workshop was conducted to review and assess the activities implemented during the 16 Days of Activism campaign, aiming to highlight achievements, discuss challenges, and strengthen coordination among stakeholders.

Partnership and Participation:

The workshop was organized in co16-dayllaboration with the Ministry of Social Development, the Combating Violence against Women and Children Unit (CVAW), and Global Nafir Organization. It was held at Global Nafir’s meeting hall and attended by several national organizations that presented their implemented activities during the campaign period.

During the campaign, Global Nafir provided logistical support to the CVAW Unit, including transportation within and outside the locality, implementation of awareness sessions on gender-based violence, and distribution of informational materials about the Unit’s services. The organization also supported the unit in the distribution of 1,980 sanitary pads provided by UNFPA, facilitated transportation for women-led organizations’ awareness teams, and supported the distribution of 6,000 sanitary pads at activity sites. Additionally, a dedicated awareness session for persons with disabilities was conducted, and 30 dignity kits were distributed.

Objectives of the Workshop:

The workshop aimed to review implemented activities, assess their effectiveness and impact, identify strengths and challenges, and extract lessons learned to enhance future collaboration among partners.

Conclusion:

The workshop provided an important platform for reflection and shared learning, reinforcing collaboration among stakeholders and emphasizing the importance of sustaining efforts in addressing violence prevention issues.
