Executive Summary:

Global Nafir Relief and Development Organization hosted a workshop conducted by the WASH cluster with the topics of strategic alignment between United Nations (UN) agencies and national organizations, with a specific focus on the Sudanese context. The core themes revolve around the integration of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into national programming, the transition to the UN Partner Portal (UNPP) for streamlined partnership management, and the implementation of the Harmonized Approach to Cash Transfers (HACT) for financial oversight. This workshop involved participants from national organizations and international organizations.

Goals of the Workshop:

The workshop aimed to cultivate effective communication skills in participants and to enhance awareness of gender-based violence, considering its psychological and social ramifications for communities.

Outcomes:

During the workshop,

• Participants were provided with practical knowledge on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and their integration into national programming

• Participants were introduced to the UN Partner Portal (UNPP) for streamlined partnership management.

• Information on the implementation of the Harmonized Approach to Cash Transfers (HACT) for financial oversight was shared during the workshop.
